BCLK = Chipset?

If i raise my BCLK, or FSB, or Base Clock, am i overclocking my chipset?

Primary: Lenovo T61 / Intel Core2Duo T7200 @ 2.2GHz / 3GB DDR2 / NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M / Fedora 22 <<<< THE WHITE KNIGHT

Secondary: Compaq Presario CQ56 / AMD V130 @ 2.3GHz / 2GB DDR3 / AMD Radeon HD 4250 / Windows 8.1 <<< THE FORGOTTEN HERO

on Sandy and Ivy bridge yes also FSB is only on pre Sandy Bridge CPU's

If you're using a chip with haswell architecture, then don't touch the bclk.

Well this is AMD stuff sorry didnt knew bclk was some Intel stuff...sorry :P

So if i raise my FSB my chipset is NOT overclocking? So same heat output?

Why is that?

because you have to then go balancing pcie and memory...and if you have to ask a question like op is asking then you're just asking for trouble. Not to mention a bclk overclock will be minimal.
