Car Sub Wiring

So I just bought a sub and amp and I bought split loom as well to cover the areas of the wire that arent going to be behind panels but I ordered the wrong size. Should I stick the wires in there and get slit loom later or just not put any on it? Also the RCA cable that plugs into the radio, can I run it down the same side of the cab as the power or should I run it on the opposite side. They are going to cross at the amp because the connectors are on opposite sides but should I separate them anyways?

Running the RCA down the other side from the power will reduce intereference, so unless you can't do it then I would recommend you do. As for the split loom it sounds like you will need to buy more to cover the cables, so you may as well run them then you can probably figure out how much you will need.

I can also recommend to twist the cables. Reduces EMI and is nicer to work with.

Won't work if you have a very thick cable though.
