Variable voltage controller

Would something like this work to control fan speed and LED brightness?

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9091/bus-191/Manual_12V_Variable_Speed_Controller_-_4-Pin_Molex_Connector.html?tl=g6c79s474

... Molex off the PSU into this controller with a molex out into the H440 3 pin fan splitter, which also sends power to the case LEDs, and my Bitfenix Alchemy LEDs.

Would that work?

Whats connected:

The 3 LEDs that come with the case (psu shroud, and two on the IO).

60cm Bitfenix Alchemy LED strip

3 120mm Cougar Vortex PWM

2 Cooler Master Seidon 240m fans

1 140mm H440 stock fan

Alternatively, I could pick up a PWM fan splitter (replacing the built in fan splitter), and an LED splitter so I can add my bitfenix strip to the case LED power button.

It will control the speed and probably will alter the brightness of the fan LED's, but I doubt it will control the brightness of the LED strip but I'm not 100% sure.

It will control the speed of the fans but your LED's will always be on as LED's can't be dimmed, they are either on or off.

Well, is there a cheap LED splitter cable so I could connect my LED strip to my H440s other LEDs?

I found an 8-way splitter for only like $6, but I don't really need or want something that big... http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14674/ele-1000/2-Pin_Power_Distribution_PCB_8-Way_Block_MMT-PCB-2-82.html?tl=g6c77s1166 . I just need a two-way splitter--one male to two female.

Is there a better option to control the fans, or no? Not all my fans are PWM so, I'd probably need something to tone down the one 140mm exhaust anyway.
