I think your motherboard doesn't support 1600Mhz memory ;)

This is what stnads on Gigabyte's website:

Support for DDR3 2200(OC)/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules

So 1600Mhz isn't supported without OC'ing.

Uhhh what? I already know all of that. I'm asking why it's running at 1600 MHz with those timings, when the advertised is 9 timings.

Well i dont know why its at 1600, maybe someone else with more knowledge than me will see this and answer your question. But if its running smooth at 1600, thats a good thing :)

Hmmm ok, maybe the mobo supports 1600 MHz, they just forgot to add it??? But then again weird timing on RAM, 11s.

Ok I changed to Profile1 in the BIOS for the RAM configuration and now my timings are 9-9-9-24 which is what the packaging/website advertises but memory clock speed is still at 1600 MHz (800 MHz each stick). Hmm probably something with the CPU supporting it or motherboard.
