Is my PSU broken?

Today when I started my computer, it was working fine until it decided to shutdown by itself. Now when ever I try to boot up with the gpu power cable in and with the gpu plugged into the motherboard, it works fine. But plugging in the gpu power cable, the computer won't boot at all.

i5-4670k

Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X 

Antec 520w PSU.

wait what graphics card are you running. there are like 10 in your spec. I dont' think 520w is enough for some of those. with a 4670k overclock.

The i5 isn't overclocked. But now when I boot up then turn off the psu and then on, the computer boots without pressing the power button but the gpu won't show anything?

280x is like 250w under full load and can drain up to 300w, maybe it does do that for a sec during startup?

Nope. Just doesn't displaying anything on the screen now and my motherboard LEDs are saying that everything is broken simultaneously.

Ok. With the gpu cable in, the computer won't boot at all.

Removed the GPU. Motherboard still gives same error LED for gpu.

Sounds like a more powerful PSU should be used, best to check the box of your GPU to see how many watts you need even though they tend to over-estimate.

Nevermind. The power connectors on my GPU are dead. And now I need to fix them some how...
