Nvidia 650 ti ssc

i have a asus z97a motherboard i just purchased.I am running an asus amd radeon 7750 as of right now. So i decided to swap that card out for an evga nvidia geforce 650 ti ssc. Once i powered on the pc the fan of the gpu started spinning an nothing came up on the display.I tested the card on an asrock motherboard to see if the card had issue and it powered on normally.Asus dosent seem to know what the problem is...
