Good OTA DVR that doesn't have a monthly subscription.

Hey guys, my mom's thinking about canceling cable because we don't use it that much compared to Netflix, Roku, etc.

Anyway, she wants an DVR capable of recording OTA with a interactive GUI without a monthly subscription, price doesn't matter up to ~$300 USD.

I really don't know a lot about this.

Also, if you know of any really good antennas (preferably roof mounted) that would support at least 5 TVs I wouldn't mind help in that area too.
