You couldn't even get the computer parts for such a small build.

nontheless seriously forget custom mac mini.

 

I mean you could get a real mac mini..... install win 8 on it if you want

If you want something as featured and as small as a Mac Mini, buy a mac mini. They're very competitively priced with something like a NUC (outselling perhaps when you include the memory/storage needed with a NUC), and you're not going to get anything near that size custom built.

 

For the purposes of a machine where you're only expecting to run internal graphics I fail to see any problem with it.
