Alright, so I have a really confusing problem that I have been working hours on end trying to fix.

System Specs:

Mobo: ASRock 87 Extreme4

CPU: i7-4770K

GPU: EVGA GTX760

Update:

The only problem with it right now is that it will not connect to my TV via HDMI. Everything else works just fine.

Cord is good.

HDMI port on card is good.

TV HDMI port is good.

I'm just not getting a connection to it.

3 monitors. 2 on the outside are the exact same (connected DVI). 1 in the middle is a different model (connected HDMI).

I switch the HDMI cable from monitor to a different I have one leading to a TV.

I tried to split my main display and my TV display with a splitter. That made both screens go black (no connection).

Found a display port on the card, decided to use that for my main monitor (display port to DVI) and use the HDMI for the TV. Connected everything, TV didn't display.

Unplugged the display port, HDMI still didn't show. Switched HDMI to main monitor. Still didn't show.

Uninstalled, reinstalled card driver. HDMI works, only on monitor and if it gets disconnected, it will not auto detect. Needs a reinstall of driver to work.

Unplugged both DVI monitors, HDMI will auto detect but only with the monitor and not with the TV.

I set up the computer when I got to college about a week ago. I have three monitors that I have been using. 2 the same and one different. The same I have connected with DVI and the one different I had connected HDMI. I have a tv that I like to watch nextflix on when I'm not on the computer so what I have been doing was switching the HDMI cable from the one that was connected to the monitor to the one that goes to the tv. I have had no issues up until now.

I went home this past weekend and grabbed my HDMI splitter so I could just split my main display allowing me to not have to keep switching the HDMI cables. Well, that didn't work. Both displays would just say not connected. They would come on for a second and go away.

I looked at the back of the card today and noticed that there was a display port and I recently picked up a display port to DVI cable and decided to use that. I hooked up the different monitor to that and I had all three monitors up. Plugged the HDMI that leads to the tv and nothing.

I tried to remove the display port and just have the 2 DVIs and the HDMI yet the HDMI didn't work. The HDMI stopped working. For both the TV and the monitor.

I tried uninstalling the video card driver and reinstalling. That worked for the monitor but not the tv. And if I unplug the HDMI cable, it will not be picked up again unless I uninstall the driver and reinstall it. I have disconnected the two DVI monitors, the HDMI is now automatically detected but only for the computer monitor and not the tv.

So the card has stopped working for the tv and it has also stopped working when I have other monitors connected to it. I have no idea why. Any ideas?

I have yet to get my computer to display on my TV again. Even with just the TV connected.

Yes the HDMI cord works, yes the TV works, yes the HDMI port on the video card works.

I'm lost. Thank you for your time.
