Hi. I am planning on getting a new pc. I was wondering if these parts made sense.

I am trying to go for a quiet, black and blue themed build.

i5 3570k

H100i

Msi z77a-gd65

16gb corsair vengeance low profile

Gigabyte radeon 7950

Corsair GS700 power supply

Fractal Design Define R4

I am re-using an SSD and a HDD

Asus Xonar DSX sound card

2x Corsair Sp120 quiet fans for the H100i (should i go for a push or pull?)

1 Corsair AF140 quiet fan to replace the rear fan

It comes out to around $1300.

Am i overdoing anything?

I plan to overclcock the cpu to 4.0 and the gpu a little as well.

Will everything stay cool enough?

Thanks.

The psu is overkill. A 550w is plenty.

You can overclock to 4.0 on a stock cooler. You should easily reach 4.6ghz.

Everything will be more than cool.

Hold up though. I'm gonna see what I can change in the build.

since you are using liquid cooling (especially with that tiny oc) he build should be whisper quiet except ... which 7950 do you plan to use ? some of them can get noisy

edit now saw gigabyte

(1) high frame rate (2) ultra graphics settings (3) cheap...>> choose only two<<...

if it's never been done then i'm probably tryna do it. (((((((Bass so low it HERTZ)))))))

also powersupply seems overkill, however it works with your blue theme and the cost of it seem quite good so i would say keep it.

Made a few changes: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/10Uti $1070

There's also a $10 rebate on the motherboard.

Just curious, but why do you recommend this motherboard?

It's a good motherboard that's cheaper.
