As far as I can make out from it's Wikipedia page the series was cancelled in 2004 (at least in the UK anyway) no reason apparently stated, but either way it was a very sad day when it was :(

I recently went back and watched robot wars, and it wasn't as amazing as I remembered it to be :(

Really? Massive chunks of metal crashing into each other and being set on fire... What's not to love?

That show I love that back in the day. 

 

I know this is not related to the forum,  but I used to watch this kick-ass robot battling show (the one with lots of saws) 

 

Does anyone know what became of it?

Classic Nostalgia 

 

This was an epic moment  in the series. A famous robot Firestorm 4 turns over the house robots.

 

Just search up robot wars on youtube and you can find similar ones. I liked series 6,7 and the All-Stars version

grant imahara hosts a roboto fighting compertition every year i think called battle bots, I also find it funny that adam and jamie from myth buster's had a robot so violent it couldn't compete

I remember watching it :D, our University engineering department takes part in a similar competition, I've never been in it myself though... not yet at least, although we are working on a car which we'll race vs some other European universities.
