Surround sound

DKLurifax

Hi guys.

I have an ASUS maximus VI gene motherboard and I am completely confused about my audio options.

I would really like a better positional audio for BF4 among other things but how do I get that? Will a good set of headphones be enough with the onboard audio or would I be better off with a pair of f.ex. corsair vengeance 2100?

I would prefer a nice headset and "real" surround instead of "simulated" surround, from the Corsairs but I honestly dont know what kind of headset will give me what I want or what to pick.

Thanks in advance. :-)

Lurifax.

You cannot get real surround sound with headphones, but open headphones are much better for positional tracking than closed headphones because of the design. Get a pair of Sennheiser HD 558's and an AntLion ModMic and run it off your onboard audio on your motherboard.
