Upgrading my laptop

I was wondering if I could upgrade my laptop GPU for HP pavillion dv6 2170ee to a newer version, and if so what gpus are compatible with my laptop? and what are the consequences of it should upgrade the power supply too?

most laptops have the GPU soldered onto the motherboard, so are not upgradable or user replacable. SOME laptops have daughter boards for the GPU and can be replaced like the ASUS G7x series. laptop GPUs can only be upgraded if the GPU can be removed, if you can find a better card with the same interface, and if you can either use the same cooling unit or you have a cooling unit that will work for it.

For anything more than upgrading storage or ram its not very usefull
