Hi!

I recently finished my new watercooled build in a CaseLabs SMA8 and now after maybe 1 or 2 weeks of use one or both (hard to tell) of my pumps are making a clicking noise, similar to hdd noise. I'm not annoyed by the noise since I can't hear it when I'm gaming anyway but it's more out of concern that something might be wrong or something that I'm asking here. What could it be that's making the noise?

Also, my coolant no longer glows under UV =/

Thanks

If you were using colored coolant, it could have easily clogged up one (or both) of the pumps. That or one/both are dying.

Turn them up a little and see if it goes away.

I'm using EK-UV blue coolant. But in last build I used that coolant for a long time with no problem. Over 2000 rpm I hear the clicking. at max speed (5000rpm) it's even louder

what pump version and what pump top?

Maybe there was something off about the batch you got.

are the intake ports being used the ones on the front of the pump top or the

side location? the side location has been know to hold air making for noise.
