Got a new Rig and got  2 consecutive BSOD's and i  looked into the event viewer and the cause was a kernel Event ID 41

Log Name: System
Source: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power
Event ID: 41
Level: Critical

Description:
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

what would be the cause of this, cause every time is BSOD's this pops up in the event viewer.

If this helps my psu is one of those old psu's that dont even have a power switch because I googled somewhere this might be  power supply thing.

plus every time i try to open something like e.x.(mozilla firefox, google chrome, mostly any application) it would crash and it would tell me the program has crashed or it's not responding like EVERYTIME!

CPU: AMD A6 6400k

MOBO: ASUS A58M-E

GPU:AMD Radeon 6670

please help! D:

That's not the cause, find the error that says "bugcheck". That's the real error

This is what happens with a BSOD ofc but it is not the cause.

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861
