On low setting maybe. Best way to test it is: torrent it, test it, Buy it :P

(I don't agree with Piracy. I only reccommend it for testing. I always buy my games!!)

I would say that on low and no aa you should be getting around 45-40 fps more or less.

My idiot friend believed me when i said blacklight retributions cost £30. So he torrented it and was all proud of himself because he could play online.

When you say low settings what resolution we talking about. Also can i switch it to dx10 or 9. I used to do that a lot when i used a radeon 6450 and i had monumental differences in performance.

Lol, Like I said. Torrent it ONLY for testing. Always supports companies. Or see if any other users with low end systems have played either of these games.

You'll probaby get playable frames at about 1600 x 900 medium settings as long as you don't turn up AA or anything along those lines too high up. At 1920 x 1080 I would suggest the low settings if you want playable frame rates.

Well my mate has a Q6600 and a radeon 7770 he said he maxed crysis 3 at 30fps. Dunno if i should believe him. I think he is bullshitting.

Depending on your resolution. I play in 1080P so I can't really tell you what settings.

I can live without AA but my screen is 1680x1050 it should be fine, that table shows that it would be around 30-28. ill turn off some crap like shadows and hbao if its in it.

Don't quote me on this, but it is possible to get 40fps on those games with your hardware. You will need to crank the settings all the way down and probably have to set the resolution below 1080p.

Your specs even meet the minimum requirements for both games.

Metro Last Light:

  • Windows: XP (32-Bit), Vista, 7 or 8
  • CPU: 2.2 GHz Dual Core e.g. Intel Core 2 Duo
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Hard Disc Space: 7.5 GB
  • Direct X: 9.0c
  • Graphics Card: DirectX 9, Shader Model 3 compliant e.g. NVIDIA GTS 250 (or AMD equivalent e.g. HD Radeon 4000 series) or higher

Crysis 3:

CPU: Dual core CPU

RAM: 3 GB

OS: Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8

Video Card: DirectX 11 graphics card with 1Gb Video RAM (Geforce GTS 450/Radeon HD 5770)

well shucks, im saving up for a 7870 xt so i may as well wait and not spend the money on a game when that money could be the difference between a 7870 and a 7950 and ill most likely get it for free in a bundle of some sorts.

I feel bad, nvidias performance is lower and they have worse deals, what the hell. Sadly i wanna buy a EVGA signature card because as you know they are sexy looking and no one in AMD's side can match that.
