Questions/Help Choosing

Go to solution Solved by Bupstrack,

yeah ik that, but for him it's a $35 difference, I don't usually need to use Voip or listen to music after leaving my desk to my lunch. Personally doesn't matter

I dont really leave my desk with it either, it's just the convenience of not having cables that might get caught or tangled or land on your keyboard.

Its actually $55 dollars difference (I hate my country prices), we pay at least the double the product worth.

I dont really care about the wireless since i also have all my cables tidy and organized, but it would have been great to have it wireless lol,

Now to the point... After paying the 1500 v2 (like $110 for you guys) they told me they have run out of stock, even though i asked that before.

So now i will be trying to get a 5H V3, or if I patiently wait for mid november, official retailer of Audio-Technica will have the MX line ( that would be $130 for ATH-M40X and $240 for the ATH-M50X on your system ).

To finish with this topic, thank you for all your replies and responding my questions. (I'm sorry if there is any mistake.. xD)

Well, first of all, i want to say that im not from USA/Canada, so there's a "limited" variety to choose from ( a new headset ), my options are the following:

Corsair 1500 V2. ( Worth paying aproximately $40 more to get 2100 wireless ? )
Steelseries Siberia V2 , 5H V3, or 7H
Razer Kraken Pro

The Kraken Pro has better sound, The steelseries Siberia V2 is more comfy for a long time (this is my experience) Don't know about he 1500 V2 though.

Having the 1500 V2, I would recommend them. They sound pretty good, the mic is fine for voice chat with friends and they are light and comfortable without feeling cheap.

Is it worth paying a bit more for a 2100?

I haven't personally used the 2100 yet, but this is a personal preference. I'm pretty sure they're the same price besides the fact that it's wireless, you can keep using it away from your computer and no cable which is nice for everybody. But the battery is REALLY annoying. Have you consider a Headphone + Mic combo?

I prefer the HD518 over the M50s anyday. But If you want Noise isolation, the M50 might be a better option.

I might use it on school or traveling, so the m50 might be better?

Or can you recomend a good one with noise isolation from senheiser?

After sometime thinking, i went with the 1500 v2 for the pc and a tiny Thermaltake Isurus when going to run/walking

2100 is fantastic, no lag, 8+ hr battery per charge, and supports charge and play.

I guess that would be nice, but I have all my cables routed and managed, they don't bother me at all.
