PC Cleaning Horror Thread

that doesn't look bad except for a little bit of dust at the bottom and in the exhaust fan, the cable management though, that's a different story...

everything was stuff into the half length 5.25 drive bay and i only had neon zip ties laying around when i originally replaced the power supply.  FWIW the airflow is awesome, there's nothing in front of the motherboard to block air.  

 

if I wasn't planning to replace the case and mobo, i'd have took it all apart today and fixed it.  as it stands the case temps went from mid 40s to 30 after the dusting and cleaning i gave it. ^^

I was cleaning my old friends computer about 2 years ago

when i opened the side i found a died rat inside the computer

 

 

I like to clean my computer out of dust at least once to twice a month

my friend's computer had such a thick layer of dust that it caught fire. i am not sure how long she went without cleaning it. that was back when we were 17 or so. never let that happen again.

my friend brought over his pc because it was running slow yea it was throttling wonder why that was... 

 

What the hell it looks like he sprayed it with grease and then blew dust in it!!!!!!!!!!!

I can recall countless times when my friends would shove their candy wrappers and chip bags into the school computers. I'm sure 1/2 of the PC's at school have lots of food/wrappers inside them.
