So this is a small build log and well not very event full. but i decided i wanted to host my website on my raspberry pi to see how it ran.

to my surprise it runs very well. better then the host i was using before. the set up process for this was actually very simple.

you set the pi up as dmz on your router, install Apache, for ease of use and file management i also use ssh, and vsftpd.

after i went and did that i got a domain at dot.tk and set it up so it redirects to my external ip. from there it would go to my router and direct to my raspberry pi where the html files would be.

you can test the website at www.bmxtricky5.tk PLEASE PLEASE for the love of what ever you believe in don't criticize the web design skills xD i know im bad and well the only thing im proud of on that site is the replication of the google log in form

PEU7hIv.jpg

thats a picture of it. to the right you should see a power line adapter that is covered in dust xD

File Hello there! was successfully uploaded and stored.

The site is so naked. It was fun to upload a file though. Empty ofc to not cap you. Amazing that Pi can run it!
