Gaming Headset For PS4

I'm looking for a gaming headset to use for my PS4. I have picked out one from the lowest price and one that's more expensive, which is the most I'll pay. My question is if they're compatible with the PS4. I know I can plug the USB into the PS4 and the 3.5mm jack into the controller but does that fully utilise the sound? Would I get better audio quality if used the supplied leads? Any other suggestions that don't exceed £65 are welcome.

I would get the Corsair Vengeance 1500 V2s personally. Fully compatible, better sounding, better built and have a better mic.

You could get a good pair of headphones and a zalman mic. Then get a usb to 3.5mm for mic and headphones. Sound quality will be highly superior to those and mose gaming headsets. Or a Hyper X cloud, probable best option.
