4690k vs 4790k

I don't know what cpu to choose, I am hesitant between the Intel core i5 4690k and the core i7 4790k.

I will be doing a lot of gaming, light video editing, and some 3d work in blender.

Please help me to choose between those Cpus.

Do you have the money for the i7?

 

Also,if you're doing Blender,what GPU do you have?CUDA rendering is way faster than with your CPU.

If you can afford it go with the i7, but otherwise the i5 is still an amazing choice.

Depends on the definition of "light video editing". If it's  only going to be from time to time, the i5 is great and will play games just as well as the i7. If editing and 3D work is likely to be a fairly regular thing, then splashing out for an i7 may be warranted. If not, you are unlikely to note a performance difference and the money is better spent elsewhere
