good and solid music player for android?

whats a good music player app on android? i recently got my One Plus One and it doesnt have a music app on it so i gotta download one but got no idea what is a good app, so please help me almighty gurus of the LinusTechTips forums.

I use Apollo, which came with my cyanogenmod OS. It's fairly good.

My friend likes google play music so there's that.

Edit: not sure if you can get Apollo any more though.

i liked google play music a fair bit, but then i switched to cyanogenmod ( which i love ) and i still havent used apollo because of spotify.

Not sure if Cyanogen is doing it officially, but there is an Apollo APK somewhere on the web.

Poweramp has more features than Apollo, but apollo is very good

have used Apollo on my HTC one that has CyanogenMod on it and it does seem alright but want something thats better

Another vote for Poweramp here. I've tried quite a few music players, and it's really been the best I've tested. Still not perfect, but it has enough features and widgets, and has a decent interface.

I don't like Poweramp's extensive pushing of software EQ to make your songs sound "better".  I use card-style music players like NexMusic and Shuttle Music Player, more so because they are visually pleasing than anything else.

Google Music for me. I love the mobile apps on my phone and tablet, just wish it had a desktop client like Spotify does.
