Case recommendations

FineVisionz

This is my last post about what case to get.  But this time I am not gonna be so picky.

  • $120 Give or take
  • Good airflow
  • Quite a few fan mounting options
  • Can fit large GPUs
  • I would prefer a full tower. But if a mid tower is better, mid tower it is.

Please try to keep comments on topic.  :D

Thanks in advance.

You would be hard pressed to find a tower, with better features, for the price point of the Phanteks Enthoo Pro.

As far as ATX goes my favourites are the Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (There's an XL version too), the Corsair 450D and the Phanteks Enthoo Pro.

Is there a difference between a mid tower and full tower? Besides size, and PCI slots?

Just bigger really, more support for liquid cooling and excessive amounts of expansion cards.

What about airflow? Is the airflow any different?

Airflow varies from case to case, so form factor doesnt really tell anything. Any spevific cases? I'm a case and air expert, so ask any questions.

Enthoo pro will have much better airflow, h440 may be quieter. Do you value performance or acoustics? And it really depends on what looks better to you.

H440 is more like a silent case and we all know what that means for airflow.

Just go with the Enthoo Pro, it's got cool extras like LED strip and PWM fan hub.

Phanteks Enthoo pro or Corsair 750D ?

Sorry, forgot to quote

Enthoo Pro.

I like Corsair cases, they look nice. But to me, the quality of their cases do not match the price they ask for.

Corsair pricing isn't too bad. Its only really bad once you get past 650D/230T territory -- A 900D is not worth $300+ as far as Im concerned. And the 750D just looks stupid (I hate the full window)

yeah, I'd rather go for one of those huge CaseLabs magnum cases instead of a 900D. More expensive though lol.

if the 750D has officially been added to your list, then check out the 760T. Same skeleton, somewhat different shell, fan controller, about $20-30 more depending which you go with, black or white.
