Why cant i get GUIminer to work with my Geforce 465

i keep looking up guilds but they keep showing a guilds for radeon side and i try it and nothing it just says error or just sits there connecting please help

You tagged your thread with "litecoining"

 

I'm assuming you are litecoin mining. The algorithm used for litecoin is Scrypt. It differs greatly from the one used for bitcoins SHA-256. Guiminer is an SHA-256 miner meaning it cannot mine litecoin or other Scrypt based coins.

You will need to download a cuda miner to use with that as well.

 

You likely won't get a very good hashrate using an NVIDIA card, and will spend more money on power than on running your miner. In which case you should just buy the coins directly or invest in an AMD card.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.
