The only part you can use for gaming from your PC is that GTX 750 Ti. If you have a budget of $1000 then you can build a PC that can make use of a better graphics card. If you build a $1000 PC around that GTX 750 Ti then it will the limiting factor for gaming. So I suggest you make a decision whether you want to build a $1000 PC with a new graphics card (Which will give you better gaming performance) or whether you want to build a PC using that GTX 750 Ti (In which case the gaming performance will be limited by the GTX 750 Ti).

Don't get the wrong idea though. GTX 750 Ti is no slouch but when paired with components worth $1000 it will become a bottleneck.

You can reuse the DVD ROM and the SSD along with the Windows 7 OS.

oh okay I understand! Can you help me pick out parts for a new pc? Without including the thing I can salvage from it( not including the 750ti )

You will be able to use your SSD and DVD ROM in this build. The processor is unlocked which means it can be easily overclocked. So I went with a good Z97 motherboard and 8 GB of G.Skill Ares RAM to match the colour scheme of the motherboard. The Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler will provide enough cooling for a decent overclock. The GPU is R9 290 which will easily handle all games at 1920x1080 resolution. Added a 1 TB Hard Disk for storing media and games.

Cheers! :)
