$800 Gaming PC?

The parents of my friend are looking to buy a new PC. They were thinking of  buying a pre-built from the store but I offered to build it myself, any recommendations for parts in the build? Nothing flashy, should be silent and restrained. No need to add monitor, keyboard, and mouse into the build. It will be used mainly for gaming, no k series intel cpu's, as my friend doesn't overclock.

You can always change a couple of things on recommended builds, like the motherboard and case. Just post your ideas before making the final purchase
