[CA+...?] Newegg.ca accepts bitcoins = REBATE

When I say "newegg", I mean newegg.ca. Some of this might apply to newegg.com, but I'm not sure.

 

 

 

Not sure when, but Newegg started accepting bitcoins. To promote this, they're having a 2 tier promotion that works like this :

 

 - 75$ off any purchase of at least 300$

 - 150$ off any purchase of at least 500$ 

 

You only have to checkout using bitcoins and use promo code  : BITCOINDEALCA

 

They also state that this can't be combined with other promotions, but I don't think this includes instant rebates.

 

This promotion makes the r9 290 quite cheap, even if they are more expensive than on ncix.ca. This also finally makes the 290X a sensible option, since it's over the 500$ mark.

 

My choice for this promotion would be the R9 290x tri-x (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202079&cm_re=r9_290x-_-14-202-079-_-Product) that would only be 429.99$ making it a nice flagship at a good price.
