SO I am planning to get these for a watercooling build and, as the build is black and red, the gold accents just don't work. I did consider doing these red fittings with black col lent (yes I know it stains worse than red and I don't care i'm not reusing blocks ). So whats your opinion should I go through the headache of color matching, preparing,and painting the already black fittings or do you like the idea of a black loop. 

 

Now this brings us to the second part of the post and why it is in the mods section. If I were to paint the black fittings I want to know the best way to do so. I already have a few ideas on how to control all the variables that could go horribly wrong but I want to see if you guys have any. Also please don't just vote and leave. Make a comment on why you voted or some thing I would have to be careful about while painting. Who know you might inadvertently tell me something I missed.

Black with red accents it always the best imo.

Those red fittings look pretty awesome. Painting over the gold on the black ones will probably ruin the finish and look on them.

 

Just to make sure, are you using rigid tubing for this?

Yup :)

Also with the proper paint and primer do you really think it would ruin the finish?

It might, there's always that freak accident of nature that happens, and it might just be more work to put in that you wouldn't have needed too. Plus the red fittings are really fucking cool.

Your right. These with some oil black liquid and some soft red leds in a H440 should look great. Thanks ;)
