How owuld the 3870 (dual GPU)
And the 4870 (dual GPU)

perform in todays games, like bf4?

kinda good kinda bad, there will be more stuttering, stay out of the 5000 series, there was a general screw up with a few things in that generation.

my guess would be 7770 maybe 7790.

A 750ti would out perform them.

In terms of raw compute power, 4870X2 has 2 TFLOPS of compute power, which is on the level of GTX 660.

However, there are other factors, that would severely limit it nowadays, not the least old drivers.
