Good choices, though I would go with a 212 evo instead for the cpu cooler (Its around $30 cheaper),  and get a WD black drive instead of the seagate.

 

Just personal preference but I would go with the black 540 instead of the silver one, your decision though.

The cooler in the PCPP I put up is the one I would suggest. And the HDD you chose is a bit slow compared to the normal Barracuda, I would just go for a Barracuda.

Any suggestions? I prefer matted screens.

Nope, I don't know much about screens. All I can say is that I wouldn't get a TN panel (which the VX248 is not)

What's a good 1440p matted monitor that I can get?

The only matte monitor I know is Dell's S series but they don't have 1440p
