And no Beats pls.

Price doesn't matter but not too much expensive.

HD 700s, all high end headphones are NOT connected with one cable.

Perhaps try the beyerdynamic t1 32ohms, i think those are tuned for phones.

I am not a basshead by any means. So don't get the wrong idea from my choices. I produced a lot of hard dance stuff (Industrial, Hardstyle, Drum and Bass, Trance Techno) in the mid 2000's, and mixed at college parties and clubs. I know my audio well.

He says not too expensive, yet everyone is suggesting ridiculously high end headphones that require a whole setup which costs even more to fuel properly.

 

That is what happens when you ask strangers what you should buy without a budget.
