Indeed do not get the Kingston V300. The crucial MX100 is by far a superior choice.

From a pure cost to performance price, the MX100 hands down. 500~+ reads, 300 write and 256GB worth of storage for under 120 dollars.

yea thats the one i am going to order soon as they open still have like a hour before they are open

Not a bad deal, I wish this stuff existed a few years ago since my 120GB SSD was 250 dollars and that was considered "cheap" back then.

The M500 is obsolete. Too expensive if it's more than the MX100 which replaces it. Kingston is problematical. Known issues. The Plextor is a fine drive. Basically use the MX100 as the benchmark. If it is as fast or faster and cheaper, buy that one. BTW, I'd look at someplace that can do better in pricing, like by about $10 or so.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!
