If i buy this off newegg, and pop it in my system only for it not to work  (compatibility wise), can i return it? i read the FAQ,  i just need more straightforward answers

Yes. Even if it's refurb or used, newegg has like a 30 day return policy or something. But why would it not be compatible? If your motherboard was made in the last 7ish years and your PSU is 250W+, the 750 ti will run fine

It may not fit in the case due to the height of the card.

yea its 300watt 18 amps, i was told that will be enough to run it. and the motherboard from hp, was shacky, it will fit, its just if the mobo supports or not, gpu has the hybrid bios, and people said it worked for them when they switched so i am hoping when it comes it all works :D.
