Hello so I have installed Windows 7 on my new PC but when I don´t do anything it makes a strange peeep sound. But that stops while it´s idleing, cause when I play games or run a stress test in Aida64 the noise stops. When I move the mouse the noise flickers.

Is it emanating from your speakers/audio system or you actual hardware. If the latter which component/s?

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.

maybe your speakers are turned up too much and your computer sound not enough. try to get the sound output louder and the speakers quieter

Well I have a headset and it´s coming from inside the machine. Don´t know exactly where.

So you suspect hardware? For lack of more information I'd suspect coil whine.

Well could you fill in a bit to that? I´m a bit new to computers... Where is the coil? In the PSU or on the motherboard somewhere, and for the record I have a ASUS M5A97 R2.0 mothership

Could it be your DVD drive?

Coil Whine. I don't think we should jump to assumptions at this point. What I would suggest you do is try to capture a recording of it and then link that here. Does it get worse when you put your system under load? Try a few scenarios to try to induce this noise.
