For various reasons, I realized I needed a couple of extra screws for an upcoming project. So I went down into the basement and got up our super old Windows 2000 PC, from year 2000. But while trying to open it, I couldn't figure out how. It seems like the four screws at the back weren't the only things holding the panel on. Also, the tower has a single panel, so one that covers bot sides and top. Any body who knows anything about how to open one these? @tmccelland maybe?

Here are some pictures:

I know it's not very likely that anybody knows this, but it's at least worth a try.

And if anybody asks, yes, you are supposed to be able to open it.

Is it a monkey? Is it an ape? I don't care, I LOVE'EM!

try pulling off the front panel first, then lifting the whole rest of the case up, It doesnt look like you can remove the side panels individually.

Try sliding the panel back or removing the front bezel to see if there are some hidden screws.

You should be able to slide the metal "U" shape off by lifting the back and sliding it back. I've removed a couple of these and they tend to be very stiff (especially when they're old).

Have you tried just pulling it directly back? You may need to life the back end a little, but it should just slide off.
