Display won't turn on

Go to solution Solved by dragoon20005,

i suspect the mobo is trying to display a resolution which your monitor do not support

which is why you cannot see any display

that monitor is too old already

question

what is the model of the monitor?

what cables you used

and how is it connect to your PC?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

If the monitor has a power switch on it make sure it is flipped to on, also make sure the monitor is plugged in.

It should turn on regardless of what device you have connected to it.

Yes I have windows 8

About 5 years

And the graphics card that I have doesn't support VGA

so you are using the DVI-VGA adapter?
