Hi guys,

I was just about to order a full new system build, when I noticed that DD4 is now starting to be available in my country.

I am upgrading for a gaming system. It was going to be a full new intel build with an i7 4790k.

I know it's the first revision etc, but know seeing that the RAM is becoming available, is it worth holding off a new gaming build for a few months to build a DD4 system when there is a little more option, or will DD4 not be that viable for a few years, and should I build a decent i7 system now?

The RAM can be found below:

As always, thank you for any comments, opinions and replies.

I personally would wait until it becomes more of the standard than the exception.

If you want to game now, build now.

You need a motherboard that supports DDR4 and their are not any available at this time. You also need a CPU that supports DDR4 and their are none of those available. So the 4790K will not support DDR4.
