If it was from a prebuilt machine, I'd avoid, they tend to be low quality (atleast in my experience). You should never cheap out on a PSU, but as others are saying, if its from a reliable brand (tell us brand and model), then you'll be safe.

Hi

I'm planning on my new pc,but I'm kinda on budget.

so I try to reuse my old PSU, it still working (my old pc got no issue when using it,) but its

already kinda old and outdated, is there any criteria so I can safely use my old PSU or buy a new one?

What PSU is it?

How long have you had it for?

And if you do plan on getting a budget PSU i would recommend an EVGA PSU

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

It hurts so much but I do it for Fifflaren. I can feel my butt tearing as my eyes start to water. I push against his force. I want to please Fifflaren. He roars a viking roar as he fills my butt with his love. My dad walks in. Fifflaren looks straight into his eyes and says; "He is a ninja now". Fifflaren is love, Fifflaren is life

yes it is, only grey box with sticker label said IMAX 450 watt, and about 5-7 years old

so I think I will saving up more money yo buy a new one instead
