Which mouse?

Go to solution Solved by GamerDude,

Using both the Logitech G502 on my main rig, and the G402 on my 3rd rig.....and I'd recommend them instead. I must admit I don't know much about the DA2013 and have not used a Razer mouse since the Copperhead I had from years back.  It lasted me about 2 years before the rubberized coating turned gooey and sticky. I have only ever bought Logitech mice, never had any issue with them, my first gen G9 lasted easily 5 - 6 years, until the cable kind of got frayed.

BTW, prolemur, define 'mushy'....I have it, and am clicking on the various buttons, feels about right with soft clicking sound. BTW, don't want you to think I buy Logitech only (though I'm a fan of their mouse), I do have mice from CoolerMaster, Thermaltake and Roccat as well.

You can go with a G600s. By Logitech, but a whole lot better.

this is probably the only place i'll hang out anymore: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/274320-the-long-awaited-car-thread/

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

i was thinking of logitech, i loved the mx518. i got large hands+play in a low sensitivity, will that change anything?

If you like the shape and feel of the MX518, the G402 would fit you to a tee. While the G502 has an egg shape (best description I can think of), the G402 has classic MX518 shape....take a look at the comparison pic below. G402 on the left, G502 on the right.

Well the buttons on the side and beside the left mouse click wobbled around and felt much worse the the primary mouse buttons.

Ahh....prolly because it was demo unit you'd tried, it's been abused and prolly dropped a few times. I was just checking the buttons on the G502, they don't wobble though the mouse wheel has a certain amount of play. The buttons feel stury in place with very little play as I run my thumb repeatedly over them.

Ok, then I guess they put out the junkiest mouse they could find :P Everything on the specs list looks awesome for the mouse too

However I did prefer the ergonomics of my g700 to the 502
