So this is the first time i'm building a computer. I live in Australia so my prices are probably slightly different to yours. I have a budget of around 1400-1500.

I'll just link the main things not cd/dvd drive etc.

Motherboard - ASUS Gryphon Z97 Motherboard

PSU - Cougar RS750 750W 80 Plus Certified

Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

Here you go. Very strong PC with a PSU that can handle 2-way crossfire of the R9 290. Stretch your budget a tiny bit and you can get the I7-4790 if you do not plan to upgrade for a substantial amount of time (looking at 4-5 years)

Thanks i'll look further into this. I do want to keep my current case choice. The R9 290 card you picked just doesn't fit by .5 but i did see that there are other R9 290's that will fit it. Does this cost include that ram as there is no price next to it? Thanks for the help :) A friend recommend pccasegear to me so thats where i was going but it seems they aren't the cheapest out there.

I do need to fit cd/dvd drive and also OS into this build, i have keyboard, mouse, 2 screens already. I will play around with pcpartpicker as i have never used it before. Thanks for the help if anyone else has suggestions let me know :)
