There's not really much to overclocking a GPU unless you're messing with voltages.

Just increase the MHz, test it with a benchmark of some sort. See if there's any artefacting or high temps. If there is, take the overclock back a bit and test again.

i have these options called core clock , and memory clock , so i shouldnt touch them, right  ? only the core voltage?

Welcome to the LTT forum.

When OCing a GPU or any other part for that matter you should increase the clocks with small increments and when you find a threshold you can then increase the voltage.

FYI~~~~~~OCing any part can kill it.

In MSI afterburner you should also see voltages and fan speed right?

Before you begin, you need to know the capabilities of your system regarding the components and if they are OCable. So even if you can OC the GPU you also need to know if the PSU can deliver the extra juice need for the OC.

I would advise you apply +30 on the core clock, +100 on the memory clock and leave the voltages alone and then save the profile as profile 1 in msi afterburner. Now play your games as usual and see if you get and artifacts(this is little or big white specks where there should not be any) or any other unwanted visual interferance in the textures. If you don't get any problems after a couple of hours then you can leave it like that or add little by little until you meet a "threshold" then you can add some voltage to address that.

Remember the Voltage generates heat so you will want to make a custom fan curve for this OC profile in MSI afterburner or just set it at a constant 60% - 70%.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.
