I have a few questions about the motherboard and graphics card... I Want to put a GTX 660ti along with an  i7 4770k 3.5ghz and a ASUS Micro ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards GRYPHON Z97 would this work? I really dont know when it comes to motherboards...I dont want a flashy blue motherboard so thats why I went with this one. Are they all compatible with each other? It would really help me if you have any tips as this is my first time building a computer from scratch. Im going to be gaming and I just looked at the motherboard realizing that its not a full size.... these are expensive... any black motherboards that look as awesome please let me know. I aslo want full size build... I don't always game but when I do its for a long time... When im not i usually have a lot of programs open that's why I went with the i7...... so hopefully that can further help you help me.

we need to know what he's gonna do with this build first.

I don't think that really matters. If he going to get an I7, then he should be getting a 4790k.

A LOT of people dont know I7's are useless if it's just gaming.

I still stand by that is not true. BF4 for example is already using I7's. The consoles have 8 cores. By the time the 4790k is outdated, I7's will be used in most game. At least this is what I think.

It's what YOU think. I dont reccomend getting an i7 right now, atleast, the extra $100 isnt worth it.

Well right now it is not worth it, but in 1.5 years when the I5 can't keep up, it will be worth it. But hey it is  up to the person buying the system, not me.
