82-88% efficiency @ 20-100% load. It's 80+ IIRC.

I switched out my Raidmax for the Thermaltake.

This was my Raidmax. Can I feel safer with the thermaltake than the raidmax?

Interestedly enough, that Raidmax wasn't completely terrible. It is capable of outputting what it is rated for while still maintaining ATX specification. However, Raidmax was rather deceitful with this line up. They sent in an unit (Andyson K) to Ecova to have it certified for 80 plus Gold, when the unit that they are selling in-store is a completely different unit (Andyson E) that only goes up to Bronze efficiency.

Anyways, the TT Smart - M offer better internal components and electrical performance than the Raidmax. So yes, you should feel safer in getting a better PSU.

That explains so much. I remember reading a review where the 1000W AE unit only reached Bronze, rather than the Gold certification.

Where do you find out about these things?
