R9 280 help

Im looking at 4 different r9 280's. Im assuming higher core clock is better. I want to confirm this.  Im leaning more on the gigabyte card.

The clocks on GPU and memory determine performance difference between models, but it's not something you end up accounting when you buy a graphics card because you can OC the slower versions.

The gigabyte has a core clock of 950MHz while the Sapphire card is only at 850MHz, but there is no reason on why you couldn't purchase the Sapphire card and OC it to match the other one, or going even higher. The R9 280/HD 7950 are decent overclockers after all.
