You need at least an 850W power supply, and i would recommend an HDD so you can have more games and stuff

the build as it is, is quite nice.

just make sure that there are waterblocks fitting those specific graphics cards. the pcb has some slight changes compared to the reference 280x and you might run into compatibility issues.

If you dont plan on runnig the cards on air for long or not at all, just go with some reference blower cooler design cards to maximize waterblock compatibility.

he doesn't need a 850w psu, 750w is enough.

As for the OP, i suggest get a z97 chipset motherboard and add a hdd.

he would be pushing the PSU at the limits i know it's platinum but i would recommend an 850w PSU

I would say even consider going to 1000W that way you can overclock the GPUs once they are in the cooling loop. Even the 850 won't leave a great deal of room for overclocking the CPU. Mind you, the max load of the system would rarely be reached, but its a good idea to have enough power to do so when needed.

I too think at least an 850W and probably a 1000W will be necessary if one has two R9 overclocked.

OP might consider going with the new H220-X and to start a single R9 290X. The H220-X because it looks so good and an R9 290X because the equally good looking Swiftech Komodo gpu waterblock can be used when it comes time to include the gpu(s) in the cooling loop.
