Recently I bought some random 32 inch Tv that looks decent to watch movies on. First off I have to buy some 20 dollar adapter which is a pain but then I realize that I am definly not at 120hz any longer. Tried changing it in CCC and when i go to 120hz it brings the res down to 1024 x 800 or something like that. I cant go 120hz @ 1920 x 1080. I know eyefinity cant support it so i went to 2 monitors. Thats where I had this 1024x800 issue. I really dont know what to do.

LG E2742V-BN 27.0" - 60 hz
BenQ XL2420T 24.0" - 120 hz
Random TV.... - 60hz

If in Eyefinity, it will automatically default to the lowest refresh rate.

TBH, I am not exactly clear on the issue.

If you really want the best experience it's better to get 3 of the same monitor for eyefinity(or at least monitors that are the same size) otherwise you won't be having a great experience with eyefinity. Stick with just using the BenQ monitor for now and when you have the money get 2 24 inch monitors and plug one with DVI and one through Displayport or HDMI and then you should have a decent eyefinity experience

Not trying to do triple monitor gaming or anything triple monitors . I WANT to use all of the monitors seperate. Just need my gaming monitor to be 120hz. Even if I go 2 montiors I still cant get to 120hz. (Havnt tried with all 3 monitors pluigged in since I am sure it will fail even more)

Issue: Monitor wont do 1920 x 1080 at 120 hz. When I go to the 120hz option in CCC it lowers the res to a really bad one. I put the res back to 1920 x 1080 and it goes back to 60hz.

What output are you using for it? The display port I assume? Gotta spend more then 20 bucks for an adapter if that's the case. I did the same thing.
