Hello , Thanks for your support.

I recently got a new mouse , it's a Gigabyte Aivia Krypton , It completely works fine but every hour or so , the mouse freezes for about 1.5 seconds . I Checked the Usb connection and  cable but it looked fine .

I Run Windows 8 , Can someone please help me as this annoys me so much in the middle of an online game , I downloaded the Aivia Ghost Engine .

When it Freezes It doesn't show that it has disconnected , Just freezing .

Thank You for your time .

Does this issue persist with another mouse? Try reinstalling mouse drivers I guess.

It could be your CPU or RAM is under heavy load. I was under 100 percent CPU and RAM load, but when I killed some processes, the mouse was a lot faster.

I don't think so as it sometimes happens in the desktop and my computer is new , but Thanks so much for your support .

  • 2 months later...

I have this same problem of the mouse freezing for a second then it is fine but there is no prompt that something has gone wrong or anything, just freezes, except I get it every 10-30 minutes. I have no idea how to fix this either.

I have a Logitech G9x.
