Fans for 80mm thick radiator

I'm ordering parts for a build, plan to run Alphacool "monsta" thick rad. I need a quiet PWM fan that is not as ugly as the Noctuas I use now, as much as I love them the color theme won't fit and if I'm going for a full out custom loop I want it to look goo as well

I'd say Gentle Typhoons as mine as beasts for my Monsta, but those have grey blades. Maybe some Noiseblockers?

Was thinking them but they need a mod for PWM and im not sure if PWM will add any ticks or something that PWM sometimes adds

swiftech helix 120 PWM is a great fan (clone AP-15) without the click/grind under-volt issues

i'm running them now on a H100 p/p @ 900rpm on a fan curve below 60° 100% @ 65°

even their non-PWM under-volt noise-less. but not all black.

and with 80mm rad, running silent will mean push/pull @ low rpm to achieve quiet mode.

one set will not be enough to penetrate the fin array.

I'll take a look at them for sure, as far as push pull is concerned I thought it added more turbulence and thus more noise. The build I'm planning could be 80mm rad with 1 layer of fans or 60mm rad with 2 layers of fans

you have that all backwards.. the 60 can easily get away with single set at low rpm, the 80

is just too thick and restrictive with the same fan, they just don't have enough butt to push

the air through the fin array for 80mm.

push/pull is so you can run the fans at stupidly lower fan rpm and double up on the pressure

advantages. and again, the thickness will matter in this case.

I guess that makes sense, if I ran the 60 I don't need to push/pull but on the 80 i do but the 80 wont fit push pull. So run the 60 with just 1 layer of fans. I do plan to run a ton of rad (2x 480) so I wanna be quiet and have good cooling (have my pie and eat it to kind of thing)
