Stability problems with latest Geforce driver (320.18)

Doing some trobleshooting about weird crashes that had been happening to me since yesterday and I have a pretty strong lead that the new driver is causing it, has anyone else experienced something like that??

I'm running a GTX 680 and i have experienced no problems with this driver on multiple games.

Is it crashing on all games or just a select few?

Is your card overclocked? If it is, try putting it back to stock to see if it fixes it.

I have an over clocking profile but I still have the stock as preferred, don't change to the OC unless I feel like it.

Problem were on general Windows, cursor lagging, monitor unresponsive, at first it wasn't noticeable, but after every reset it caused it went worst, by the time I had the idea to change the driver it became almost impossible to move around in windows. The thing is, when the driver installation was almost complete the screen went black, system had a flick and the monitor turned off, no info was being given to it, GPU fan turned on 100% speed and the system didn't wanted to respond, had to hold reset it, but when I turned it back on it was completely fine, GF Experience took its damn time loading but after that driver 314.22 was installed and I tested the system, played Deus Ex for a while, tested it and everything ran ok.

But if I am sure of one thing, is that those things back there weren't normal

I would reinstall it because the screen should usually flick and come back to windows when it is installing the driver. Uninstall it and use CCleaner to fix the leftover registry keys and install it back again to see if it solves it.

I just made a clean install, there seems to be some glitch with my monitor though, after the driver was installer it went black, but turning it off/on solved that inmediately.

Thanks a lot guys!!
