Info about VPS?

Hello everyone!

As you can see in the title I need to find some more info about VPS (virtual private server). I want to run a windows program on a linux vps.

The thing is, I'm really new to VPS, I got the idea from a friend of a friend... you know...

So if anyone knows a good website/youtube video/helpful person who could help me out. Just write it down here

Ehm, a step by step summary how to install a program on a vps? 

Open to learn more though

It depends on the os with windows its basicly the same as regular desktop (non server windows).

With linux you need to use the command line via ssh to do this.

Also what provider were you thinking of going with?

I recommend vultr vps because they have locations all over the world, great support, instant setup for Linux with in 15 mins for windows, and a nice control panel that allows you to take snapshots on linux for free during the beta period.

I have the gamingserver program (if I can call it like that), just want to run it 24/7 on a vps.

Looking for Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, UK, at least EU...
